What makes Claudia's work unique is her experimentation with and creative use of color, texture, and design. She likes to take chances and experiment with unusual combinations of fabric, threads, and wire until they "work." From this process evolve whimsical felted figures, clocks, wall hangings, scarves, sculpture, and vessels. Claudia studies her work in progress and creates what she sees happening in the work. So, each piece evolves spontaneously as it is being created. When she feels thrilled, surprised, and awed about a work, she considers it complete.
