Picture

I create glass beads by manipulating molten glass in the flame of an oxygen/propane torch. The glass is magical, and provides an opportunity to explore color and texture, contrast and harmony, reflections, transparency and opacity.  My work is informed by my surroundings, the colors I see, and the flora and fauna that share my rural northeastern Nevada landscape.  I like to offer my beads in finished jewelry pieces of wearable art, and also as small collectible objects that stand alone.
