Clay Artist

My passions are reflected in my artwork.  They show up through my love of nature … gardens, wildlife, and the outdoors.
I feel that I was born an artist, and I have made art, studied art, and lived art throughout my years.  I have taken many classes and workshops, but most of my knowledge has come from my extensive library on design, color, craftsmanship, watercolor, drawing, clay, acrylics, encaustics, papermaking, pastels, printmaking, sculpture, metal, wire, etc.  All of this flows into my artwork.
All my work is made by hand.  Clay is the most natural, meditative, and responsive of all art materials with unending opportunities to create.  From concept to reality, my work is about exploration and experimentation.
In a world that has become so black … I want to add a little color and happiness with my artwork.
